Rap-Up.com || TLC’s T-Boz Reinvents Herself in ‘Totally T-Boz’ [Sneak Peek]

The T in TLC, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, is getting into the reality show business with her own show on TLC. On “Totally T-Boz,” one-third of the iconic R&B group gives us a glimpse into her life as she moves to Los Angeles with family and friends to reinvent her career in the music industry.

The show documents the 42-year-old singer’s difficult divorce and financial challenges, recovery from a life-threatening brain tumor, and battle with sickle-cell anemia.

In the first teaser, T-Boz goes into the studio with hitmaker Bangladesh (Beyoncé, Lil Wayne) to craft her first solo album.

“I guess I have to prove myself all over again, even if it’s to the world. I don’t have a problem doing that,” says the outspoken T-Boz.

The docu-series will premiere January 1 at 8 p.m. on the TLC network.

@AllAmerykhanBoy, nothing wrong with being from the 90′s if you still got it…Brandy,Monica, Beyonce, Kelly, Toni,Tamar,etc. still have it…but ummm T-Boz, not so much…she could never sing and i’m sure it’s even worse now

When I saw this title tho I slick busted out into my own rendition of “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg”!!! I’m a LAAAAATE 80′s baby and I LOVED those songs, I grew up on them!!! I hate to see people in my age bracket and younger who have less than NO respect for the fact that some of these artists paved the way for all your new young artists. SHOW SOME RESPECT. You don’t have to like it or understand it but if you don’t have anything nice to say… DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. Stop being so ugly! I’m gonna check it out just to support and see what’s up with this new music, I will NEVER stomp on anybody trying to bring themselves up!

Even Bangeldish is doubting her! BUT I must say She has is featured on ‘LITTLE MIX- Red Planet ” song on their debut album and STOOSHE covered ‘Waterfalls’ TLC biggest hit! So she has kept contracts up in UK and still making that TLC money!

I always thought she seemed very conceited, but she was one of the best voices of TLC and if she can get a all round hold on the industry! she will fly!

No where in that video did she say she wanted to work with Wayne. She said that guy PRODUCED for Wayne.

And since when does music have a “age limit”? I wouldn’t give a damn if she was 52, is there a “rule book” that states she can’t make music?

No matter if you like her or not, she spoke her opinion (which she is entitled too).

This is exciting news! I’ll definitely be tuning in on New Year’s Day. I had no idea she had been through as much as she has! It will also be interesting to see her start on her new solo album. I’m glad she’s back in the lime light! My DISH coworker first told me about this new reality show so I won’t be missing it. I’ll be recording it on my DISH Hopper since I won’t be home when it airs. I’ll be able to start watching on my living room TV and then continue watching on my kitchen TV right where I left off. This will make decorating much more enjoyable!
