Kendrick Lamar closed out Cali Christmas with a bang. Moments before taking the stage, the West Coast’s golden child spoke with Rap-Up TV about his big year, topping critics’ best-of-the-year lists with his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, and his favorite album of 2012.
He also explained how his collaboration with Dido came together (“Let Us Move On”) and updated us on his collaborative album with J. Cole.
Plus, find out how Kendrick plans to spend the holidays and what his favorite Christmas song is (Hint: It’s by a fellow West Coast rapper.)
@Diego, His album couldn’t be nominated for a Grammy because in order for it to have been nominated it had to have been released before September of this year, so in the 2014 Grammy show he will have a nomination.
Was sort of hoping he was gonna say his new year’s resolution was to stop all the pollution, talk too motherfucking much I got my drink I got my music.
Putting out one of the best albums of the year speaks on its own. Unfortunately, no one can be bothered to spare ten bucks for music. It’s an issue when you’re like Nicki, do nothing but run your mouth, flop, and make a shitty album.
