Eve gets back to business on the latest release in her “EVEstylin’ Tuesdays” series. After remixing hits from Rihanna, Miguel, and Brandy, the globe-trotting diva addresses her absence from music over DJ Drama’s empowering single “My Moment.”
“Went from pitbull in a skirt to a lioness in Louboutins,” raps E-V-E, whose oft-delayed album Lip Lock is due in April.

@GO HEAD GURL, I agree with you. Eve is still true to hip hop. It doesnt matter to me how long she has been away. Stans sometime dont understand the ins and outs of the music business. They think everything is left up to the artist themselves. But there is alot of factors and politics that goes into being an artist. How quickly we forget what Eve has accomplished also. Our generation’s mindframe is so used to thinking a certain way that we forget when Eve had her own tv show, two blockbuster movies, own fashion line, the fact she has a Grammy, has sold millions of albums and records. Half of these new rappers both male and female can barely scan over 40k in first week of sales. Thats terrible. I think we need to start showing our veterans a little more respect!

@KevROCKSTARR, lmfaoooo but the highest selling rap album to come out this year has sold 750K+ with the aid of a 36,000 push. You tried that. Eve’s last album was on certified gold. Based on the comments on this no one is checking for Eve right now. But you’ll sure catch the Kid with the torch on Idol this January. God Bless.
