Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Escape to Aspen for Christmas

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon kicked off their Christmas in Aspen. The festive couple, who have made the trip an annual tradition, arrived in the snowy city on Thursday with Dem Babies, Moroccan and Monroe, in tow.

They shared photos from their holiday on Instagram. Nick wore Mariah’s lamb slippers and headphones while dancing in front of the Christmas tree. Meanwhile, his wife kissed her mini MC, Monroe, and posed for the paps in her winter ensemble while shopping.

“So beautiful! Christmas begins for me today. God Bless!!!!” tweeted Mariah.

In related MC news, “American Idol” has released a new promo with Mariah, who discusses her new gig as a judge and what she looks for during the audition process.

Its always great to see her enjoying vacation and I love her kids.

In negative nancy news, unless she has a medical condition (which could be), why does she gain weight and then she being she, forces herself to lose it by album/press time? Just stay in the middle at least so its not an uphill battle to meet live tv.

@DRB, my guess would be because she’s a woman and has a career in the entertainment business. They call it your “fighting weight.” And the older you get, the harder it is to reach it.

Triumphant what? Haha! As soon as the live shows of Idol start…she will drop her ‘real’ 1st single of her new album. She will use the show to hype it, perform the song and promote the album.

Who wouldn’t? Cee Lo, Christina, JLo, Maroon 5 did it too, don’t blame them.
