Rap-Up.com || Video: Ester Dean – ‘Baby Making Love’

Ester Dean takes it back to the ’90s in the nostalgic video for “Baby Making Love.” The singer-songwriter, who has penned hits for Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj, invites her girlfriends including Electrik Red’s Binkie over for a slumber party. They dig through old R&B records, play video games, and flirt with the guys on the phone.

Expect big things from Ester in 2013. After starring in the comedy Pitch Perfect, she will release her debut EP, which is expect to feature a collaboration with Missy Elliott.

I wonder why this post has no comments…oh i know why…its obvious (her skintone and weight)…but this chick is good at making hits…but like The Dream, Keri Hilson, Ryan Leslie etc….they and she are probably better behind the scenes….everyone just cant be a star…but she is def talented : )

@Breeangel, I will never understand for the life of me why some ppl would try to become stars when they are clearly better behind the scene. Those ppl you must be fame hungry. For me, I just want to be successful and wealthy….if my chances are greater making money behind the scenes, then so be it. They could keep the fame, give me my money.

@meme, Ester didn’t want to be an artist at first because of the whole skin tone and weight thing. But I guess Roc Nation convinced her to pursue a singing career.

@meme, If that were the case we would not have Missy Elliott who is and was an incredible artist of an Era. Long as the music is good. Beside look at Lil Wayne not a handsome man at all but people like him. In these cases you have to make music stand for itself. If it can do that then we are in good shape.

@Rasan8250, i think ur miss reading my comment. My comment wasnt referencing looks. Simply that some ppl are better behind the scenes. Ester work clearly shines better when rihanna sings it (no shade). The dream, while decent looking, makes music 100x better for other ppl than he do for himself. so why try try be a star when you make mad money behind the scene? thats why question, has nothing to do with looks.

@meme, because people are allowed to have other DREAMS, GOALS, AND ASPIRATIONS…some people may not want to ONLY in the SHADOWS of the artists that they help Create a SHINE for…they want the world to see them too…just because they do so well behind the camera doesn’t mean they don’t have a shot to be a STAR themselves!!

I really like this song.

And I support Ester because something about her is just different! And that’s what I love about her.

For some reason when I look at her, she kinda reminds me of the rapper “YoYo”.

AND it was nice seeing Binkie (from Electrik Red), I hope ER makes a full comeback in 2013! Sad The Dream didn’t no how to manage them good :(
