Rap-Up.com || Brandy Gets Engaged to Music Executive Ryan Press

Wedding bells are in Brandy’s future. Over the holidays, the “Put It Down” singer got engaged to music executive Ryan Press.

Her rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly and ET.

“They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right,” an insider tells Us Weekly.

The happy couple celebrated their impending nuptials in Hawaii. “Hawaii sun all in my face:) having a great time with my love @ryanpress215,” tweeted the 33-year-old Brandy.

In a previous interview with Rap-Up.com, Brandy said that she had almost given up on love until reconnecting with the 32-year-old Warner/Chappell Music exec. “It was just not working for me in that category. So I said, ‘Well, I’m just gonna be single forever. It’s just gonna be me and my daughter.’ I reconnected with [Ryan] because I had met him before, we kinda fell in love.”

Her Sean Garrett-penned single “Wildest Dreams” was inspired by her new fiancé. “He loves me for every personality I have,” she told Rap-Up.com. “He loves me for every flaw. He accepts me as who I am and he can see me for who I am.”

This will be Brandy’s first marriage. She has a 10-year-old daughter, Sy’rai, from a previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Robert Smith.

How has this year been great certainly not her album sakes dud she even sell 300,000 this album may have been pleasing to fans but commercially it floped where is it on charts now I would like to see what u guys define as a comeback lol

@Diego, top five song on billboard hip hop and R&B, an album that debuted in the top ten on both billboard 200 and billboard hip hop and r&B(an album that has gotten critical acclaim)….. being on two hit television shows(the game and drop dead divas) an upcoming film(temptation), a much talked about whitney tribute performance and getting you haters attention pretty confirms that this is a comeback ;-) …Congratz Bran !!!!!!!!!!
