Three days into the new year, a new beef is brewing between Azealia Banks and Angel Haze. The femcees exchanged heated words on Twitter on Thursday.

“Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY…. DON’T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER,” tweeted the Harlem-born Banks.

Angel, who was born in Detroit and grew up in Brooklyn, took it as a personal shot and responded with a series of fiery tweets. “Charcoal skinned bitch. But ima chill. I’m out,” she told Banks before deleting the offensive tweets.

Azealia responded, “@angelhaze hahahaa.. i see ur TL… first off… NOBODY WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU,” she said. “@angelhaze second off…. weren’t you the same girl in your interviews + on twitter saying you want to eat my pussy and shit… ???”

Banks maintained that her original tweet was not aimed at Haze. “There was NOTHING in my tweets that even for a SECOND alluded to her,” she wrote.

In the past, both rappers have expressed their admiration for one another. See a timeline of some of their tweets below.

Whatever, angel haze was just waiting for an opportunity to express her Azealia Banks jealousy.

We don’t know what was festering underneath. They obviously know each other in some personal capacity.

I think they are both talented and have made great songs and unique fashion choices. I prefer they take this to their music soon . They could both use the buzz.
