Rap-Up.com || New Music: R. Kelly – ‘I Know You Are Hurting (Tribute to the Newtown, Ct. Kids)’

R. Kelly provides some comfort in the weeks following the tragedy in Newtown, Conn. The R&B veteran has released “I Know You Are Hurting” as a tribute to the children of Newtown. The spiritual number features a children’s choir and healing words penned by Kellz, who doesn’t actually sing a verse.

“I know you’re hurting/ I hear you crying, but come tomorrow, there’s a place you can go/ Find the blue skies/ Hear the choir sing/ Feel the power of a miracle,” sings the choir.

The song is now available on iTunes.

I havent heard ya reach to a specific person tragedy, with exception on one (touched love) song & thought feeling pain is a transformation didnt expect nor seen. It is attractive & loveable; You dont lose hope, & that is a great gift to cherish. CMM

Enough with the sex tape talk that happened years ago people and first off who are we to judge what we do not know just from a tape and yes what we all saw was wrong, But only person who will judge him at the end of his life is GOD. And as for this song i like it and he has made numerous inspirational songs before. And that’s what this is about a song not his personal life. Lord knows what half these celebrities in life that we do not know of. This song is very good. And everyone just let God have the final say. But R. Kelly is the KING OF R&B and makes wonderful music from all different ways. SO musically he is a genius and God blessed him with that talent. So please let God judge a man by the end of his life not us as humans. And i know everybody has a opinion and the right too but please drop the conversation about that mess.I know somebody will have something smart to say but i do not respond to that everybody have a blessed day.

There is so much hate in these postings. I lost a daughter when she was 13. I know the pain these parents feel. I was shocked and cried for days when I heard the news. We have no right to hate so much when someone is trying to help. You should buy the song and help those families who are suffering a pain that will never be healed. Peace Out!!!

if you buy it on itunes do the proceeds go to the children of Newtown ? I went to itunes to see if there was a disclaimer saying proceeds would go to Newtown’s families but found nothing. R Kelly offering comfort to children .. is this a sick joke ?
