The new year brings new music from Chrisette Michele. The R&B songbird has announced a release date for her fourth album Better.
The follow-up to 2010’s Let Freedom Reign is set for release on April 30, Chrisette announced via Twitter. It marks her first album on Motown (she was previously signed to Island Def Jam).

Honestly i think if she wants to stay relevant she should start making better singles all her songs are just ok to me. She needs to make songs that can be played on Urban radio stations and can actually perform well on the charts. If not just go the independent route. I dont think Chrisette Michelle belongs on a Major label. Thats just me tho.

@Truth,
That’s how I first heard of her,on Urban radio. Do you keep up? Her songs have longevity. That’s what keeps artists around and in the hearts of the public. I love Beyonce and a few of the other divas, but CM brings that class back to R&B…Wisdom
