She’s back! After a month away from Twitter, Nicki Minaj has reunited with her Barbz in cyberspace.

“MAY YOU HAVE A HAPPY, BLESSED, AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!! MMMMUUUUAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!” tweeted Nicki in her first tweet since December 5. “*kisses my babies* Hi Barbz!!!!!!! muah! muah! mmmmuuuaaahhhh!!!! LOVE U!!!! What’s been going on?!?!?!!?”

The Young Money rapper, who has over 15 million followers, explained her absence. “I didn’t leave barbz, I was still here in spirit and u guys KNOW that so stop with the dramatics!!! LMAO. come sit in my lap.”

While she was gone, she celebrated her birthday, Christmas, and New Year’s. “ok, this last birthday was hands down my best in my lifetime. I’d like to thank my team, my fans and Australia for the out pour of LOVE,” she said. “Thank you to Dubai as well. You guys were an absolute joy to perform for. Thank you NY for Xmas and Vegas for NYE. NYE WAS FUN FUN FUN.”

Last April, she deleted her Twitter account, only to reinstate it weeks later. But this time, her absence wasn’t deliberate.

“I really didn’t plan on leaving barbz! =( just sorta happened…I learned a lot on my little sabbatical tho… so enlightening, so peaceful,” shared Nicki.

She returned just in time for the premiere of “American Idol” on January 16. She also plans to shoot a video for “I’m Legit” with Ciara or the Lil Wayne-assisted “High School” in the coming month.

The only feature on “Lady Marmalade” was MISSY ELLIOTT, the song is credited as a single from EACH of the ladies involved in it. , and I find it funny that your calling it a “pop” song, but when you look under the genre it’s labeled as “R&B, Hip Hop,Soul”. The song was produced by Rockwilder (as well as Missy).

And your using Dianna Ross as an “example” as if she hasn’t won awards ever in her life time (Academy, Golden Globes, American Music Awards, Tony Awards etc..)

And P.S – “Lady Marmalade” came out in 2001, Christina A and P!nk had 4 albums after, Lil Kim had 2, and Mya had 1. Their careers were far from “dead” after that single was released. Sooooooo…..
