New Music: Willow Smith – ‘Sugar and Spice’![]() Willow Smith has been back in the lab cooking up new music. She gives us a taste of what’s in store with “Sugar and Spice,” which she posted on Twitter. The pint-sized star has come a long way from “Whip My Hair,” revealing her inner battle on the dark piano ballad. “I try to be sugar and spice, but I’m melancholy and can’t do anything right,” sings Willow over the stripped-down production. “The monsters under my bed keep making noise at night/ I just want silence, but I can’t try this.” Listen to Willow pour her heart out.

@Wish A Bicth Would,
Did you ever hear WILLOW SAY THAT HERSEL HER OWN MOUTH? Dumbasses like you started that ish on Twitter because she shaved her hair. Willow represents individuality and most black people aren’t used to it. Yawns.

@Brit, No, she doesn’t, you pressed fool. Willow represents the spoiled brat of a talented actor and his wife who has been allowed to roam free in the public eye. If you’re looking for ‘individuality,’ I suggest you learn about Chrisette Michele and Janelle Monae.

Willow has matured so much music wise. I think what Will and jada and Jay Z are doing with her is great . Release a single once in awhile. Show her growth. No need for album she’s still young and obviously changing. Good job Willow! Sounds good

This isn’t even funny or interesting! What type suicidal trip is she on! Fame is one thing but making a record of what allegedly sounds her pre-death is another! Even Rihanna ain’t on whatever she on “bout darkness in her soul”! Someone save this girl from herself!

wow, this sounds really good and different from what we would expect from a young girl.
This has a clearly indie vibe, and none can deny she has talent. Lets see if her label finally push for her debut album, Im interested

Willow sounds awesome, she has grown up so fast.
Great track. Worried she’s growing up TOO fast.
This dark music has obviously come from all those times spent with people like Tyler, The Creator.
