Nelly Furtado taps into her Latin roots in the enchanting video for “Waiting for the Night,” the latest single off her album The Spirit Indestructible. The Canadian singer lights up the screen as she tangos in a dancehall and shows off her exotic beauty in the black-and-white clip, which may remind you of her Folklore days. Own the night with Nelly.
@LOLatHaters, Actually she directed the videoclip by herself with help of her team. And she didn’t needed anybody’s money. She does her own stuff, and I’m glad she is doing it.Despite being a flop, her album is one the the better pop album of 2012 and definetly one of the best of her career.
At least, people should give her credit for her willingness to do what she wants to do despite an unfavorable music industry. She proposes something different and creative.
Second verse is vocally 100% Madonna !
Exact same flavour…
If Madonna could hold a note, I mean!
But she is too serious!
This could have been a romantic and fun number!

@Fa, Don’t be stupid, just because Madonna lacks range it doesn’t mean she can’t hold notes or sing. She can sing as much as Nelly, neither of them are like Whitney Houston though. I agree with you on that part “100% Madonna”..this new style is very Madonna!

Did she not get the memo that her album sold under 10K copies? Who approved funding for a new video?

@Hellioss, artists like that don’t get any recognition for it. They just get called flops by pressed haters.
