Rap-Up.com || New Music: Ciara – ‘Wake Up, No Makeup’

Ciara and Future have already collaborated on the remixes to “Turn On the Lights” and “Sorry,” and now the rumored couple shows off their chemistry once more on “Wake Up, No Makeup” aka “Wake Up, Turn Up.” CiCi flaunts her money and gets turnt up on the Mike WiLL Made It (“Bandz a Make Her Dance”) production, which she co-wrote with Future.

The song actually isnt bad, if RIhanna can get a hit with “Pour It Up”, I dont see why Ciara cant get a hit with this song…the songs are basically cousins, both ratchet, club bangers, and simple lyrics witha hot beat…plus with Future & Mike Will Made It named attached to it, it can blow up on urban if she promotes but thats up to her and her label what they wanna do with it, but its not a bad song at all wayyyyy better than “Got Me Good” IMO.

She’s rode records like this since her debut. Give credit when it’s due. She’s just moving with the current sound of music, nothing wrong with that at all. Isn’t that what everyone else is doing? Rihanna song though was straight ripped from “Bandz a Make Her Dance” by Juicy J, who was coincidently all created by Mike Will Made It, so if you want to blame someone blame the producer who makes the beats. And FYI Rihanna don’t write her own music Ciara does…

If someone has previously had some success with a song, they go to that same producer and say, “I like what you did with (name of hot artist). This is cool but she needs to do better. I’m glad this is a mixtape cutt off of Future’s ish because this sound is something I thought she grew from.
