New Music: Wyclef Jean – ‘Hip-Hop’

Wyclef Jean

Wyclef Jean writes a love letter to “Hip-Hop” on his latest record, which premiered on Power 105.1. The former Fugees frontman takes a trip down memory lane, honoring pioneers from the past like Afrika Bambaataa and KRS-One, and shouting out today’s newest stars like A$AP Rocky and Odd Future.

He addresses the latest drug trend in hip-hop (“I see molly is the new cocaine”), recalls appearing as an extra in a Rakim video, and pays respect to his own group (“I miss OutKast like people miss the Fugees”).

Bridge the gap with Clef.

He should get the people he raps about to work on his new music with him!
    Just sayin’
Cause at this point every single artist he mentions in his rap is way cooler than he is !
I w0uldn’t mind listening to him again , if he colaborates with SNP and Bobby Brown!
