New Music: Nickelus F f/ Drake – ‘Number 15’![]() It’s been a minute, but Drake reunites with Nickelus F once again on “Number 15,” a bonus track from the Virginia MC’s new mixtape Vices. The Canadian superstar gets on his “Toronto shit,” reflecting on fame and success. “Now I’m in it for the hos and the checks, could care less about respect from ni**as I never met,” he raps on the dark Jake One production. Drake has been working on his third album and recently shot a video in his native Toronto for a song called “Started From the Bottom.”

Youre in it for the hoes and checks? Thats exactly why music is where it is today. What about passion? What about making a difference in the world? What about making music thats thought provoking? I always listen to new music before I cast judgement, but this materialistic bulls*it has to stop. No one is authentic.

@Amir, bitch please. stop swallowing the loads of all these new rappers, and wake the fuck up. the game sucks and thats evident w/ rappers like chief kief, rick ross, nicki minaj, and machine gun kelly having music on the airwaves.

@yooo, Where is music exactly? Because Drake can say whatever he wants, but at the end of the day he delivers. He can rap, so let’s not go there.

Anyway, Drake killed it as usual. He always comes out with great stuff.
Can’t wait to hear Started from the bottom and buy his next album.

Drake was exciting to listen to when he was hungry & felt like he had something to prove. Now he’s boring, complacent and sloppy. he’s got Young money fever. Where’s Thank Me Later Drake?

@P, Take Care was part of his decent as an artist. So Far Gone was better than both but Thank Me Later was much better than Take Care. I wish Drake cared.

Drake is not a political rapper, he never stated that he was though.. so I don’t understand why people are suggesting that music has declined. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t promote political rap, I’m simply stating that Drake raps about love, fame etc and by his stats, he’s doing well with that.. lets be honest, apart from Wayne, who’s doing 631k first week nowadays? That’s not to say that sales are everything, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye are perfect examples however, Drake’s lyricism and flow should never be undermined JUST because he chooses not to rap about political themes. #rant

@keep it real, I think people are just tired of every single rapper writing rhymes about the same shit. I know I am. There hasnt been many classic hip-hop albums as of late for that reason. Not to mention most rappers use the same producers so they all sound the same.

Y’all saying how “Thank me later” was trash but yet it sold over 500,000 on its first week, more than these new artists did on their first week . But I do think Drake changed alot, fame came & it just chaged him, now he’s gettin tattoos & all that stuff. Either way i still support him but I miss the old him.
