Rap-Up.com || New Music: T-Boz

As her four-part reality show “Totally T-Boz” comes to a close, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins debuts her empowering song “Champion.” The TLC alum provides words of encouragement (“Any war you can win if you stay strong/ Baby, you’re a champion”) as she sings in her raspy voice.

Proceeds from the sale of the single, which is now available on iTunes, will benefit sickle cell and leukemia foundations.

Aside from her solo ventures, T-Boz is planning to release new music with Chilli to celebrate TLC’s 20th anniversary. “We will do two new songs and remix some of the older hits,” she told Anderson Cooper on his daytime show. “Use it as a twenty-year anniversary. Twenty years, two decades.”

T-Boz (as well as Left Eye & Chilli) built their own path that NO ONE can touch. Trust me, I bet your fav was singing their songs when she was younger, lol

@Get Money B!tch, Sounds like an example of when a young person doesn’t know their history. TLC basically put Atlanta on the music map. That means Outkast, Usher, T.I., Cee-Lo, etc. There’s actually a T-Boz day in Atlanta. Back in the day, you never really heard of artist and fans beefing about who was a better artist.

@ Get Money, I don’t think you’re FEELING the song, but if you knew her history and all the struggles she has overcome (especially her health), how many lives she’s touched and for her to come back and not only launch a solo career, but bring TLC back on the map, SHOWS her inner champion. Find yours and don’t hate. Appreciate :)

I just finished watching the T-Boz show and hearing the new song….Champion. Off the hook! God is already using her. This song is her personal testimony. I had a friend who struggled with a blood disorder all her life. Remember…T- Boz lost her friend Left Eye too. So all yall HATERS need to relax. T- Boz is a Champion!!!
