« Beyoncé Opens Up About Miscarriage, Surrogacy Rumors in HBO DocumentaryRap-Up TV: French Montana Gets Freaky with Nicki Minaj on New Single »Video: Snoop Lion f/ Mavado & Popcaan – ‘Lighters Up’ [Teaser]![]() While some Rastafarians including Bunny Wailer have criticized him, an unfazed Snoop Lion continues to wave the Rasta flag. The rapper formerly known as Snoop Dogg breaks us off with a teaser of his video for “Lighters Up” off his upcoming reggae album Reincarnated, which is unlike anything he’s done before. “This is different because I’m singing the whole album and expressing love and peace,” said Snoop during his appearance on “106 & Park.” “I got songs on there that really mean something, that really can change the world because I’m a powerful individual and I realize that now. Sometimes I felt like the music I made was real negative and it didn’t give people nothing to aspire to, so now this music gives me a chance to really push out love and peace and positivity.” The Reincarnated film arrives in theaters on March 15, while the album is due in April. The full “Lighters Up” video will premiere next week.
