Rap-Up.com || 2 Chainz Celebrates Gold Album

Yes, it’s TRU. 2 Chainz’ debut Based on a T.R.U. Story is now gold. The Atlanta rapper celebrated the milestone with his Def Jam family at a dinner in New York City last night.

“Hardwork paying off,” tweeted 2 Chainz, who was presented with a plaque from Def Jam president Joie Manda.

He will attend the Grammys in L.A. on February 10, where he is nominated for Best Rap Album. He also recently shot his acting debut in the CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls,” airing February 11, and is in the lab working on his sophomore album.

All the airplay he received and all the people singin his songs he should be platinum by now. Rap records not sellin like they use to. Without touring and endorsements you not makin no money.
