New Music: M.I.A. – ‘Doobie’ (Produced by Danja)

Get your lighters up. On the one-year anniversary of “Bad Girls,” Danja unleashes a previously unreleased track from M.I.A. called “Doobie” as part of his “Throwback Track Thursday.”

While driving through L.A. in his car, the super-producer (Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake) introduces the blistering banger, which was recorded at the same time as the Grammy-nominated “Bad Girls” in 2007.

“I spy with my little eye, something that can get you high,” raps M.I.A. over heavy-hitting drums.

    I loved “Bad Girls” but this song is just OK. I am so excited for her new album though because she always brings some hot shit to the table.
