Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé Covers Vogue’s Power Issue

She stripped for GQ and now Beyoncé is looking glamorous on the March 2013 cover of Vogue. Fresh from her Super Bowl halftime performance, Mrs. Carter graces the fashion bible’s annual “Power” issue.

With her hair pinned up, Queen B strikes a regal pose in a black-and-white outfit. An early photo of the cover has hit the net with the tagline, “Beyoncé rules the world.” Past “Power” cover subjects have included Lady Gaga, Adele, and Jennifer Hudson.

Beyoncé will kick off “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” on April 15 in Belgrade, Serbia, with the U.S. leg launching on June 28 in L.A.

I like the cover. GO B! But… why is it that the only time black women are on the cover of US Vogue is when they put out their “Shape” or “Power” issue? Not to say it’s a bad thing, but why not the brown girls on regular issues? I could be wrong, just saying.

@brave., I honestly think its catering to the woman who purchases Vouge instead of racial. Same reason there are hardly any white people on VIBE, or Jet, or Ebony or Essence and so forth. Not only is this the power issue, this is the BIG book. The one most women (and some men) will purchase if none of the others.. So hey might as well be on the best since its so often… lol

Rihanna just did GQ then Beyonce did GQ (not saying out of the two RiRi was the first to do GQ or B has never done it). Rihanna just did vogue then Beyonce did vogue again. Coincidence i think not! B you ain’t slick everyone knows you trying to bring Rihanna down because she has risen to your point of exposure but here’s the got you, the more flawless you claim yourself to be, the more flaws you reveal!
