Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé, Jay-Z, & Blue Ivy Spotted in L.A. for Grammy Week

Still coming off her Super Bowl halftime high, Beyoncé jetted to L.A. with Jay-Z for Grammy week. The superstar couple lunched at Gjelina in Venice with their one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy on Thursday.

The paparazzi scrambled to get a shot of the famous family as they left the trendy eatery, while security attempted to block the shot. Bey ducked her head as she walked to the car, Jay held a baby bottle, and Bey’s bodyguard carried Blue Ivy, who was tucked safely away in her car seat.

Later in the evening, they were spotted at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. for Solange’s sold-out show. They mingled in VIP with Rihanna, Timbaland, Pharrell, Kylie Minogue, Melanie Fiona, and Bridget Kelly.

Beyoncé is in town to present at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, where she is nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Love On Top.”

Poor Blue…they can’t even hide her. I think they should not have another baby because he or she will be completely overshadowed by Blue. If they were thinking about the kids life then that’s the best thing. Just random thought. lol

Woah! Just by looking at that snapshot of Blue Ivy, she looks just like Beyonce! In a perfect world, I wish the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance would be a tie between Beyonce and Melanie Fiona because they both deserve it. After seeing Beyonce open up her Superbowl performance with “Love On Top,” I think that people will be even happier to see her win her 17th Grammy.

@Ursula, what a week you and i are having … i completely agree w/ you! even if she doesn’t cut it to freshen up her look, then she should take the color dark. NOT a honey blond or even brown … i want her to go severe and go black! the contrast of her light skin & dark hair would be stunning, like she was in the countdown video w/ the short black bob wig.

@KaramelKisses, Funny because that Superbowl performance changed my perspective on her. I feel like she’s really taking her career more seriously now since being a mother… like back when she was the DC & Dangerously in Love days when she would kill it. I didn’t really like the 4 album, her look for it, or the Run the World single/vid so it left me a little through with her. I was always a DC fan and when she brought them back out with her at the SB I was so happy.

I don’t understand how Beyonce can say she cares about her fans yet won’t even share a picture of her child with them. J-Lo, Mariah, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry, her sister Solange, and even her bestie Gwyneth Paltrow don’t walk around hiding their kid(s) face behind some stupid blanket like she/he is gold. They go on with their life. So what if someone got a picture of their child, it’s not like I they be going out of their way to say “here she/he is!” I think Beyonce’ is in need of attention and her fans are stupid for allowing her to play games with them using that child of hers. Michael Jackson hid his kids faces for years, and for what? People don’t care, we see them so the curiosity is over now. That’s what Beyonce is afraid of, that she will become obsolete….like she should.

@CW, you don’t understand. People took Blue’s first photo and put crazy things on it. Calling her the devil’s child, the princess of the illuminati, and etc. she might want her child to be sheltered. Remember we saw Will and Jada children after they were of age. Look at what happened to Tia Mowry. People called her son ugly, funny looking, and etc. nobody wants their child to be attacked no matter how much money they have or who they are. Yes, we want to see the baby’s face but we understand why she hasn’t shown her. If I was in her position, I would do the same no matter how much love I had for my fans. You won’t attack my child.
