On the 10-year anniversary of his iconic debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’, 50 Cent celebrates by dropping a brand new song and video for “Financial Freedom.” The hip-hop mogul penned the song on Wednesday and shot the visuals on Thursday of this week.
“This was inspired by 10 years anniversary of GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN,” said Fif. “I wrote the song so everytime i hear it it reminds me of it.”
He purposely left out part of the video so the focus would be on his lyrics (and SMS Audio headphones). “I didnt shoot the 3rd verse for you to focus on the lyrics. no GIRLS, no JEWELRY, RAW ENERGY, its just me.”
50 Cent’s fifth album Street King Immortal is due this spring.
How people can hate 50?
This is is HIP HOP, I mean REAL hip hop!
Don’t matter if u a hatter,a fan or if u just don’t a sh*t about 50,
you have to admit, this is HOT!
@Aqs, I co-sign, some people may complain that his music sounds dated, but honestly I would give anything to go back in time to 2003 or 2004 was Hip-Hop was at its prime. 50 gives me nothing but nostalgia every time he drops a track.
