Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé Celebrates ‘Life Is But a Dream’ Premiere with Jay-Z, Solange, and Oprah

Who’s badder than Beyoncé? The pop icon was glowing as she attended the premiere of her HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream in New York on Tuesday. A blonde Bey turned heads in a beaded nude gown by Elie Saab while posing on the red carpet and speaking to reporters.

She was surrounded by her family including husband Jay-Z, sister Solange, and mother Tina, along with her friends The-Dream, Angela Bassett, Luke James, ?uestlove, Chris Rock, Russell Simmons, Victor Cruz, and more.

Before the screening, she sat down with Oprah for an interview about the film and revealed that Blue Ivy inspired the title, which comes from her daughter’s favorite nursery rhyme, “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.”

The revelatory documentary, which Beyoncé executive produced, received Oprah’s stamp of approval. “People are going to be amazed. … People are going to feel a connection to her that they didn’t feel before because she shows us how real she is,” she told omg! INSIDER. “I think that documentary is a game changer.”

The star-studded crowd then headed to the after-party, where Solange played DJ, and the sisters were seen doing the bunny hop.

Earlier in the day, Oprah interviewed Bey for “Next Chapter,” which airs Saturday, February 16, at 8 p.m. on OWN followed by Life Is But a Dream at 9 p.m. on HBO.

When have she taken her daughter to a pumpkin patch, zoo, beach. She is all about her self. Most women with her money would’ve loved to say home for two years and witness all the beauty that your child have to offer. first step, first time she talk, not have nannies raised your child while you running all over the place.

@meme, and here you go w/ your dissertation … GOODbye! perhaps, she has a plan not to release new music until it coincides w/ a certain date seeing as how her tour is called the mrs. carter show. truth is 4 was the BEST selling r&b album of 2011 so just b/c you have NO taste doesn’t mean millions of others don’t. truth is w/ amazing songs such as end of time, start over, love on top, countdown & dance for you from 4 people are willing to buy concert tickets to see her perform those songs in addition to the oldies but goodies i.e irreplacable, deja vu, singles ladies, crazy in love. 4 had the potential to be huge but she was pregnant & w/ her having miscarried before i’m sure her doctors made her limit her stress to the very minimal (been there, done that). so she couldn’t travel to promote or shoot largely choreographed videos. plus the album leaked 3 weeks before the release date so i think she saw it as a freebie which would explain why you haven’t heard her breathe on this album.

She stated this in her documentary. She is not here for you and your generic music addicted ears. When she releases music it’s actually going to be worth her fans going to itunes and copping and when we pay to see her LIVE it’s actually going to be a concert worth talking about years from now. With only 5 #1′s solo she has spent 37 weeks at #1. ALL of her #1′s have longevity because they’re quality and they actually push her album. That’s why I’m a fan of hers.She is selling out multiple tour dates all over the world in under a minute WITHOUT a #1 single HECK even without the title of a single/album and you think she worried about something?
