Nelly Enlists Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz, & Wiz Khalifa for ‘M.O.’

Nelly is pulling out the big guns. The St. Louis rapper has revealed some of the superstar features on his upcoming album M.O.

The follow-up to 2010’s 5.0 is due in June featuring collaborations with Trey Songz, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, and the Canadian singer who shares his moniker, Nelly Furtado.

“I have the first-ever Nelly and Nelly collaboration,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at the Grammys.

He recently shot a video for the first single “Hey Porsche” in the desert outside of Los Angeles.

“It’s kind of shooting up a little faster than we expected,” he said of the radio-friendly record. “We didn’t have the video ready. We just got the video ready and are getting ready to drop it.”

Nelly can also be seen on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and in the upcoming indie film Reach Me starring Sylvester Stallone.

I’m with you, Rachel- I’ve been waiting years to finally see a collaboration, between Mr. Cornell Haynes Jr. and Nelly Furtado, and now, it’s finally going to happen. I remember 2001′s recording of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On with the All-Star Tribute, which included both Nellys. I even remmber when both of them appeared on stage at the MTV VMAs, back in 2002. Once M.O. comes out in June, that one musical collaboration with both Nelly and Nelly Furtado is what I’ll be looking for, the most. Nothing like a little touch of old school, especially with two performers that have each been around for more than 10+ years.
