Rap-Up.com || Eve Collaborates with Dawn Richard on ‘Lip Lock’

Eve is expanding the guest list for Lip Lock. The Philly rapper has recruited Dawn Richard for her first album in over a decade.

During her appearance on Bravo’s “What What Happens Live,” she revealed that the Goldenheart singer will make an appearance on the oft-delayed project, due May 14.

“Snoop’s on the album, Dawn Richard’s on the album, there’s a few other surprises,” teased Eve, who was recently spotted at Dawn’s New York show at S.O.B.’s. “I don’t want to say everything yet.”

She previously said that the album would feature Snoop Lion, Pusha T, Juicy J, and Chrisette Michele, with production from Swizz Beatz and Claude Kelly.

Eve recently shot a video for the next single “Make It Out This Town” with Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship.

While taking questions from fans during the after-show, she reiterated that she has no beef with Nicki Minaj. “I don’t do beef. I never have, I never will. I wish that girls would stick together. We all need each other,” said Eve.

@TrinaFan,Dawn did not end Danity Kane. DIDDY had more to do with that than Dawn did. Eve has worked with Missy and Trina in the past. She also is workign with Missy and Kim on a collab for Missy’s album. She already has stated she is not convinced by Iggy’s music. So stop throwing shade.

My question is: Why do people think everyone has beef with Nicki Minaj? These girls (Other Female Rappers) are not running from her, she’s running from them. Nicki is the one who’s choosing to stay away from other female mc’s and not collaborate…. I feel like she just wants all the attention. Like she said; Females are not her competition, ok so why you don’t want to link up with non of them??? Like really, who TF wouldn’t want to work with VETERANS/LEGENDS esp. the Ladies….
