After releasing the video teaser for “We Up,” 50 Cent debuts the full version of the song featuring Kendrick Lamar and his G-Unit signee Kidd Kidd. The hip-hop mogul stunts on his verse (“Spikes on the Louboutins”), while K-Dot shares what he did with his millions. See what their success and money tastes like.
50’s album Street King Immortal is due later this spring featuring collaborations with Eminem, Snoop Lion, Young Jeezy, Adam Levine, and more.

@drake, Amazing how no one made a comment of cats like Trinidad James, French Montana,or 2 Chainz. Like Kendrick’s voice isn’t the most pleasant all the time but that’s what makes it raw. And he is definitely not overrated. If your not from that situation or you care more for that “money and hoes but i have neither” music that’s how you’re gonna think and you’re not going to understand it. And hip hop tells stories and majority of Drakes music does that even if he’s not talking about the projects. People hate on him because he wasn’t born in the worst situation. But he comes from that silver spoon admits it. Tired of people being so damn limited in their music selection and writing off anyone who isn’t a “real (FAKE) nigga” and making comments like “He overrated”, “He soft”, “That nigga wack” without giving any legitimate reason as to WHY?

It’s great to see 50 Cent come out with his new song, “We Up” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Kidd Kidd. This is the best song 50 Cent has done in a very, long time right now. I believe Kendrick Lamar is one of the top 10 best rappers in hip hop right now. Kendrick Lamar’s G.O.O.D. K.I.D. M.A.A.D. C.I.T.Y. album got great critical reviews, universal acclaim, and rave reviews from unbiased music critics, and unbiased music fans. Kendrick Lamar’s G.O.O.D. K.I.D. M.A.A.D. C.I.T.Y. album got a 91 percent on Metacritic, and was certified gold by selling over 700,000 copies this year, and was the best hip hop album of 2012.
I don’t think Kendrick Lamar is the best lyrical rapper in hip hop, but Kendrick Lamar did have the best hip hop album of 2012. I believe Nas and Eminem are far better lyrical rappers than Kendrick Lamar, but Kendrick Lamar is a very, talented rapper, and has the potential to get even better. I don’t think Kendrick Lamar is overrated, or annoying because there are far worse rappers than Kendrick Lamar in hip hop right now. 2 Chainz is more overrated and annoying than Kendrick Lamar, and 2 Chainz gets more radio airplay than Kendrick Lamar. As long as Kendrick Lamar continues to stay with Aftermath Records, and continues to be mentored by Dr. Dre, and seeks more advice from Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent, I believe Kendrick Lamar will have a chance to be relevant for the next 10 to 20 years, if he continues to put out great hip hop music.
