Rap-Up.com || Alicia Keys Performs ‘Girl on Fire’ and ‘Brand New Me’ on ‘Ellen’

There’s no stopping Alicia Keys. Straight off her performance with Maroon 5 at the Grammys, the hard-working gal hit up “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday to perform a medley of “Girl on Fire” and “Brand New Me” off her chart-topping album Girl on Fire.

She gushed about her 28-month-old son Egypt and upcoming “Set the World on Fire” tour with the Grammy-winning Miguel, which kicks off March 7 in Seattle.

Expect to see even more of Alicia in the coming weeks. She will be a guest on the February 18 episode of “The Wendy Williams Show” as well as the new season of “Oprah’s Master Class,” premiering March 3 on OWN.

Nothing wrong with being precise. I look at a little boy as a baby until he reaches three, then I can accept him being a little boy. People are different. Anyway Egypt is a very beautiful child and Alicia seems to be a wonderful mother.

but i have to say this, her album is really underselling for her caliber , she has had the most promotion i have seen in quite sometime for an album. i honestly think her labels stupid thinking girl on fire will selll the album alone, they need put out another song that can do well in rnb and top40 radio

Alicia looks great, I can’t wait for her to start promoting some of the other phenomenal songs onthe album, GOF is my least favorite to be honest and BNM is one of my favorites but there is sooooooooooo much more.

@j r, well I agree she has earned a whole lot more than she is getting credit for and I know that she not only got talent as a vocalist but she is one of the best pianist out there and if Darn economy was better any one who has a good ear for music would of done bought the whole album!!!! As matter of fact been wanting it myself can’t afford it right now but really I can skip a meal or two! Absolutely love her and she got a body to match her heart and soul as well as all that talent!! God bless her an that beautiful baby!!!!
