Rap-Up.com || John Legend Sings National Anthem at NBA All-Star Game

Before the NBA’s all-stars faced off on the court at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game in Houston, John Legend showed his stars and stripes by performing “The Star Spangled Banner.” The R&B crooner belted out a soulful rendition of the patriotic tune a capella as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Diddy, and Drake looked on.

Mr. Legend has been in the studio with Kanye West putting the finishing touches on his new album Love in the Future, due later this year.

Since detractors had a touch time accepting Alicia’s National Anthem, calling it “too Motown” and “too jazzy,” I hope this is sufficient.
