Rap-Up.com || Emeli Sandé Performs ‘Clown’ and ‘Next to Me’ at Brit Awards 2013

It was a big night for Emeli Sandé. The critics’ darling capped off a triumphant year by winning two awards including British Female Solo Artist and British Album for her debut Our Version of Events at Wednesday’s Brit Awards 2013. She also closed the show with her hit singles “Clown” and “Next to Me.”

The performance brought Jessie J to tears. “@emelisande you have me in tears… I am SO fucking proud of you!!!!! That’s how you show the world girl!!!! LIVE singing to the max!!! Congratulations! Ugh! Yes! X,” tweeted the “Price Tag” singer.

Emeli Sande is not only an amazing singer but I really like her songwriting. I can’t believe she wasn’t recognized at this years Grammy’s. When I bought her album last summer I thought that she would steal the Grammy’s this year. At least Britian knows she’s got talent!!!
