Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake Announce ‘Legends of the Summer’ Tour Dates![]() History will be made this summer when Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake team up for the “Legends of the Summer” stadium tour. After reports surfaced earlier this month, the pop megastar and hip-hop icon have made it official by announcing dates for the once-in-a-lifetime event.
The 12-date trek kicks off at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on July 17, playing stadiums across the U.S. including New York’s Yankee Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, L.A.’s Rose Bowl, and Boston’s Fenway Park, wrapping on August 16 at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium. The tourmates most recently collaborated on “Suit & Tie,” the first single off Timberlake’s upcoming album The 20/20 Experience, and performed together at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. This is not Jay-Z’s first time sharing the bill with other superstars. In the past, he toured with R. Kelly on the ill-fated “Best of Both Worlds” tour in 2004, Mary J. Blige on the “Heart of the City” tour in 2008, Eminem on 2010’s “Home & Home” two-city tour, and most recently Kanye West on 2011-2012’s “Watch the Throne” outing. Tickets for all dates except New York go on sale to the public on Thursday, February 28, at LiveNation.com. Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Friday, February 22, at 12 noon local time through Citi’s Private Pass Program. “Legends of the Summer” Tour Dates July 17 – Toronto, ON – Rogers Centre *New York on-sale information to be announced soon. This is a little odd. But get them coins. If they were gonna do this they should’ve done a joint album. Weird combination.

@Zave, I’m just maximizing my opportunities. Jigga is my n-gga and he be helping me get my popularity back, ya heard? The contract we have says that if he goes on tour with me, I’ll let him smash my big booty bitch.

This return of Justin Timberlake is getting more pathetic the song goes into a tailspin in Billboard and now can not even do a solo tour … Another artist of the 90 who stayed behind with Christina Aguilera. Very few can remain as Britney Spears, Madonna, and Beyonce

@carl0s, i would usually agree with this but only if it was an arena tour. This is a stadium tour, meaning more than 3 times the amount of people attending, that’s why there are just a few dates. He could easily do a asolo arena tour but they decided to do something different.

@carl0s, All those artists you mentioned made their debuts in the 2 yrs of the 90s, sk I’d hardly call them artists of the 90s

@carl0s, and madonna is an 80s artist. And this a stadium tour. Very few artists can headline stadium tours. All of these venues seat over 50k for concerts

@carl0s, Madonna started in the 80s, she’s irrelevant as hell, and she hasn’t had a big smash hit since 4 Minutes;and who did she have to thank for that? Oh yeah, Justin Timberlake! As for Britney, the last I’ve heard from her this year is that god awful song with Will I Am. JT’s return is going excellently actually, your just a hater

@carl0s, LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLOL. Justin can do a solo tour, over 1 this is a summer stadium promo tour retard, not an internatioal arena tour. The entire album hasn’t come out. Doesn’t make sense to do a complete international solo tour until both albums are out. Actually, his first week sales for the last 2 albums have crushed Madonna and Britney.

I love JT & JAYZ together. Better than JayZ&Kanye tbh. It’s good that Jay’s stepping out of his genre to touch base with other artists other than Kanye.
Kanye seems controlling.

Excuse me,but does it seem to you that this poster is a bit homoerotic? It`s like a tuxedo in the process of undress but stage 2(undone black tie)belongs to Jay,not Justin. Ah,forget I said anything.
