Rap-Up.com || New Music: Jay Sean – ‘Where You Are’

Jay Sean keeps the romance alive on “Where You Are,” the first single off his upcoming fourth album Neon. The charming Cash Money crooner doesn’t want to spend a moment apart from his lady, singing her praises on the breezy guitar-driven tune.

The follow-up to 2009’s All or Nothing is due May 21. “The album is the best piece of work I’ve done to date, without a doubt in the last 10 years,” he told Rap-Up TV. “This album is a mixture of R&B, of pop, of some rock influence as well, of hip-hop influence. It’s just all of the great genres that I love and I grew up on in one. The songwriting and production on this album is superb. It really took us a long time to get it right, but I’m so proud of it.”

@Morgan: “Ride It” is not Bhangra lmao. Jay has never done Bhangra music. The closest was his collab with Rishi Rich called “Dance With You.”

@Ahmad, Neither Stolen nor Eyes On You were Bhangra. They’re just South Asian-influenced R&B tracks. You need to look up what Bhangra music is.

i like this single , but why is this the first single , its more like the 4th , but its a good single , im happy he actually put a date out for his album , he needs to release the track listing soon though
