Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey Plays Champagne Pong with Jimmy Fallon

Mariah Carey brought some festiveness to “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” in honor of the show’s four-year anniversary on Friday. After appearing on “Live! with Kelly and Michael” earlier in the day, the “American Idol” judge chatted with Jimmy about their viral video for “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and her loyal fans aka Lambs. Fallon admitted to being an L4L, Lamb for Life.

During their conversation, she revealed that her new album is due in May, which would coincide with the season finale of “Idol.”

According to Billboard, she has been in the studio with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, and Rodney Jerkins, and said that the follow-up to 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel will have a “lot more raw ballads than people might expect.”

To celebrate Fallon’s four years on air, she played a game of pong using Dom Pérignon Rosé champagne and pink ping-pong balls. While she wasn’t able to score any points, she did raise a toast to Jimmy as only a diva could. Devine, darling!

@MONSTERSROCK, it’s a start. It’s better for songs to start low. Don’t wanna start any discussion but Hold It Against Me got a huge debut and flopped hard. Although, I don’t think the song is gonna be big. Old artists are having difficulties to make a comeback. They need to make a record with the popular artists at that moment (for example Alicia Keys).

MUCH BETTER interview than live w/kelly & michael morning show, Mariah seems much more at ease & not rushed by an affectionate Jimmy Fallon.What i dont get is why both shows waste precious time with silly or lame quiz/games instead of more insight into the sublime mystery that is Mariah!
