New Music: Ciara - 'Body Party'
Ciara takes it nice and slow on “Body Party,” the new single from her upcoming fifth album One Woman Army. The seductive jam, which samples Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo,” was produced by Mike WiLL Made It (“Bandz a Make Her Dance,” “Pour It Up”) and co-written by her boyfriend Future.
“My body is your party, baby/ Nobody’s invited but you baby/ I can do it slow now, tell me what you want,” she coos.
“Let’s just say that this record came out of a very sincere place,” Ciara told Billboard. “I think when things just organically feel right, naturally good things come from it.”
She gushed about working with her own boo, Future. “He’s such an amazing, creative person,” she said. “I can be very creatively expressive myself, but there’s nothing like being able to work with someone that can bring a new flavor. What I like about [working with] him, it’s almost like I got to learn more things about myself.”
Due in June, One Woman Army is set to feature production from Rodney Jerkins, The Underdogs, and Rock City, plus collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross.
