Azealia Banks mouths off on the creepy cover of “Yung Rapunxel,” the first single off her highly-anticipated debut Broke With Expensive Taste. The Harlem rapper puts her mouth where her eyes are on the black-and-white artwork. The song, produced by Lil Internet, hits iTunes on March 26.

She stated that “Yung Rapunxel” was the dark sinister screamo version of 212. So the album cover does it justice but it doesn’t change the fact its scary as fuck. But I think thats what she was aiming for “Luxury -Witch” “Spook you with spells” “I’m spooky as fuck” etc. Her art was always dark and twisted(Fantasea). So I am looking forward to her first “Era” in the music industry. I hope the single is as good as this cover. *screaming yungrapunxel in the ear*

The cover art definitely isn’t beautiful but industry standards but it speaks to the emotions she is trying to express in the song (I can only assume since it hasn’t been released yet). I think it’s dope.

The black, grey and white color scheme as well as the font remind me of Gaga’s Fame Monster.

I love Azealia and can’t wait for the album to come out!

Hey everyone is influenced by others but this bitch is just straight up taking the exact style from that era. At least some of these artists who are so called “copycats” change it somewhat to make it their own. I mostly don’t like her because of the way she comes at all these females ( Iggy, Kim, Nicki, Kreayshawn, Angel Haze, Shystie, and I’m sure the list goes on). It’s def not a good look especially as a new artist. She turned me off of her music from the beginning from her attitude & disrespect to other artists. she may be a bitch but karma’s an even bigger bitch.
