Rap-Up.com || Video: Kelly Rowland – ‘Kisses Down Low’

Kelly Rowland comes out to play in the fun and flirty video for her latest single “Kisses Down Low.” The Destiny’s Child diva models many different looks—from pinup girl to Marilyn Monroe to red head as she struts her stuff against the colorful backdrops.

“I’m so excited about this video. The theme is fun and flirty and pinup,” said Kelly of the Colin Tilley-directed clip. “The makeup is poppin’, the hair is poppin’, the styling is so cool, but it feels just really flirty. I wanted to bring that out of the song instead of making it as racy.”

The bedroom banger, produced by Mike WiLL Made It and written by Rock City, will appear on Kelly’s upcoming fourth album Talk a Good Game.

@Ursula, I don’t know what you call cheap but theirs nothing cheap about this video nor the styling or clothing. She clearly stated she was aiming for a certain “look” and thats what she wanted to portray in the video. U ppl r never happy! If she would have went the more typical route you guys would be complaining about her being too overly sexual! Makes no sense at all!

@diva, I like Kelly and with a song like “Kisses Down Low” the last thing I’d say was overtly sexual would be her image – the song and its lyrics cover that area well. To me, the wig selections for Kelly could have been better, but most of Colin Tilley’s videos are kinda ‘cheapish’ looking just like ‘the Boys’ with nicki and cassie. The set designs looks like they’re from the 90′s.

I LOOOOOOVE the song & Kelly looks great but this video could’ve been and SHOULD’VE been so much better. Is it so hard to come up with a concept that consists of more than just visuals created by a computer? Are the labels just getting tighter on the budgets for music video’s these days? This video should’ve had a CO-STAR, and some hot @ss choreo for the chorus. Oh well, maybe next time.

Too cute. For some reason I expected choreography, but at the same time I’m glad that there wasn’t any. Most of her videos from her last album mainly had dancing, and Ice as well so she switched it up.

This was fun, cute, and I couldn’t help but smile all the way through. Her facial expression are everything =)

This video is further proof that she is one of the finest ladies in the game. She is just gorgrous. Some of the colors reminded me of “Bootylicious” and some of the segments reminded me of Beyonce’s “Countdown” but Kelly made it her own. I hope she announces a release date for her new album soon.
