Luke James

Luke James doesn’t need a studio or even a mic to shine. R&B’s rising star shows off his raw talent in the streets of New York City. The New Orleans native gets on top of a road divider and sings an a cappella rendition of his single “I.O.U.,” which was penned by Kevin Cossom and produced by The Runners.

Super-producer Danja, who signed Luke to his N.A.R.S. label, even joins in by playing the drums on the divider.

Luke will give his first televised performance of the song on March 20 at 10 p.m. on BET. He is currently filming Black Nativity alongside Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker in NYC.
