Trey Songz sings from the heart in the emotional video for “Fumble,” the tender ballad off last year’s Chapter V. The R&B crooner pens an apology to his lady for not being the man she deserved.
“I could have loved you so much better and I can’t believe you never walked out,” he sings as he travels around the world regretting his decisions.
“It’s basically a song about having the one person that’ll do whatever for you, the one person that’ll go to the end of the world and back, and you not realizing it until it’s damn near too late,” Trey told Billboard. “It’s essentially about having someone’s heart in your hands and dropping it.”
See him own up to his mistakes in the black-and-white clip.
Now this is the Trey Songz I appreciate when he makes these great songs with heart and meaning it reminds me why his mentor is Kells and also the freaky songs too. But I love when he goes deep on his songs about love and break ups. This is R&B and I respect him for this song one of my favorites along with bad decision.
I love this track off Chapter V. Fumble is one of the realest songs he has released. You can’t help but feel a certain way when you listen to it. His face was so sad in this video and you feel his pain. Most people have been through their own “Fumble” situations in life. Glad he recognized his faults.

The song took me a while to get into, but I like it. Not a good single though, a little boring.
