Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé Flaunts Her Figure for Shape Magazine

Beyoncé made men drool with her sexy GQ cover and had the ladies admiring her style on the cover of Vogue. Now she’s showing off her post-baby body on the cover of Shape’s April 2013 issue.

In the magazine, the pop icon reveals how she lost the 57 pounds she gained while pregnant with daughter Blue Ivy. “I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again,” she laughed.

While it may appear otherwise, Bey admits that she too has to work to shed the pounds. “I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”

Blue’s mom credits her dance workouts for keeping her fit, while offering some sound advice to others. “I would just say, everyone is not supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you.”

Umm, she didn’t tan though. Beyonce hasn’t ever sat out in the sun for hours to tan for a photo shoot. That was the color we were all used to; even in Destiny’s Child, hence why no one “moaned when she tanned herself darker.” She didn’t.

@channelPink, I smell an hater. If she booked a show 3 months after what would be the point of getting surgery to remove the weight. She would still have to work out to get back in shape and get ready for the show. Remember just because you get surgery to remove the weight or you are naturally skinny doesnt mean you are in shape.

That’s the body of a woman who works out and who has muscle memory. If you were tight before pregnancy and work out afterwards and consistantly you don’t have to turn into a blob. Besides dance is really the best exercise because it works every muscle.
