To celebrate her 25th birthday and the two-year anniversary of her mixtape Sailing Soul(s), Jhené Aiko shares a new song with her fans. The L.A. songstress, who is currently marking the occasion in Maui with her family, shares what she’s learned on the self-penned “Everything Must Go,” produced by No I.D.
“In my 25 years on this planet… If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that EVERYTHING MUST GO,” she wrote in a letter to her fans.
Jhené is gearing up to release her Def Jam debut Souled Out, which is set to feature appearances from Kendrick Lamar and Ab-Soul. “I swear I pour my everything into each of these songs,” she said. “Pieces of my soul I may never get back, But I leave them on tracks in hopes that someone, somewhere will connect.”
She also has plans to hit the studio with Drake and Miguel.
