Kendrick Lamar teams with one of his idols, Jay-Z, on the official remix to his good kid, m.A.A.d city cut “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” produced by TDE’s own Sounwave. Young Guru previewed the track at SXSW last week, and now you can hear the full version, which features new verses from Kendrick and Jay.
“That’s the big homie. It’s one of them things, you know, you live up to and one of them moments to really challenge yourself and say ‘OK, that’s how I come in. Always looked up to the greats to be a great.’ So to actually be on a track with him, it’s an accomplishment,” Kendrick told MTV News.
Hear the streets of Compton and Brooklyn unite.

@Steve, “Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich. I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch. I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it. Now with my daughter in this world, I curse those that give it.” -Hov

Man, Kendrick just one upped himself from the original track! That second verse is just killing ‘em. In my mind, Kendrick is the most versatile emcee on a major label. Jay can’t even touch him on that second verse.

Jay even adopted a K.Dot flow for a few bars in his own verse; that’s a big shout to Kendrick.

Kendrick has the game on LOCK. And crazy thing is he has this all planned. He surpassed the stage of being a rapper. This dude is a straight MC in a generation where it’s rare to be one. Smh you have to give credit.

Jay-z killed and everyone who doesn’t know Jay z bodied it so much Kendrick had to go and make another verse after him cause when he heard it he said he had to go even harder and Jay z inspires him
