LL Cool J Announces ‘Kings of the Mic’ Tour with Ice Cube, Public Enemy, & De La Soul

LL Cool J

LL Cool J has assembled a legendary lineup for his next tour. Some of hip-hop’s greatest MCs will bless the stage during the “Kings of the Mic” tour.

Fresh from rocking Austin at SXSW, LL has announced dates for the 25-date U.S. trek, which kicks off May 23 in Tucson, Arizona, playing shows in Las Vegas, New York, Boston, and Cincinnati before wrapping on July 3 in Houston.

LL isn’t the only icon on the bill. The hip-hop fest also includes Ice Cube, Public Enemy, De La Soul, and DJ Z-Trip.

The tour arrives on the heels of LL’s album Authentic, due April 30. “This album and tour are for you. Thank you for being there from day 1,” the Queens rapper told his fans.

Hola from Tucson! Wishing you mucho success on this tour. Gracias for holding it in the sovereign nation of the Yoheme people(Yaqui tribe)& not in another venue in our backwards state of Arizonutz. MMy “sun” works with the crew that sets up the stage & might be working this show. He is also a very talented rapper in the Tucson music scene. His stage name is Louis Mercury(Lou Merc). When he was a kid in the mid 80′s I turned him & his lil Bro to rap. It got in his blood! Please, if you want to discover new talent & give someone a chance to get ahead give him a call- Lonnie Taylor 520-808-7632. I know this is coming from his mother but my boy’s really good, he raps in Spanish & English, he’s Blakxican. Thnx for taking the time to read this & I hope you’ll take this into consideration. You will make a mother who has seen her “sun” struggle, very happy!
    Peace-out
