Keyshia Cole Performs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Keyshia Cole

Amidst the Beyoncé controversy from earlier in the day, all eyes were on Keyshia Cole when she took the stage on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday.

The blonde songstress poured her heart out as she belted the ballad “Trust and Believe” off her latest album Woman to Woman. She also delivered “I Choose You” for the encore.

Keyshia will kick off her “Woman to Woman” tour with Chrisette Michele on March 28 in Westbury, New York.

She suck, she fails at life, she needs to pack it up and be a house wife.

@Fuck Keyshia Cole, It’s people like you that make this world so ugly. Keyshia is talented successful and happily married. She speaks her mind which is something alot of critics do but no one seems to direct anger at them. Who says Keyshia can comment on music when she obviously is a vet and knows music herself? I’m proud of her for being a voice of reason and staying true to herself. She told the truth and so many are scared to hear it. Shame shame shame..

What a great performance! The way she broke it down at the end just absolutely killed it, she should have put that in the original version. Well done Keyshia. Where can I see I Choose You?

READ the lyrics, understand what she is saying. When you state “to all the little girls who dreamed of being in my world” that means to all the young girls who want to be like me. She is NOT talking to the haters, she is talking to girls like YOU, this is a message for YOU. You are the B-itch but some how you need to justify that she just didn’t call you that so you need to say she’s saying that to someone else,

BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT SHE SAID,
SHE IS TALKING TO YOU, she said YOU NEED TO RESPECT AND NOT FORGET THAT AND BOW DOWN B-ITCH.

    As I said before….
Whitney, Mariah, Celine, and Adele, true divas, would never release something so disrespectful as this.Fans and Stans are confused, I understand, its hard to realize that your fake queen just dissed and dismissed you.

They truly think this woman is talking to her haters. She is not, READ and COMPREHEND what she is saying to straight to YOU. No where in this song does it say to my haters or any other singer, it says to you who dreamed of being like her, stop defending some by who has blatantly disrespected YOU.

“I know when you were little girls, you dreamed of being in my world,” Beyonce sings. “Don’t forget it, don’t forget it, respect that. Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted, this my sh-t, bow down b-tches.”

So all you gays, and drag queens, and ladies and gents that have spent your hard earned dollars making this woman rich she just told you exactly what she thinks about you, you are all are low life peasants that should bow down to her greatness you gutter trash.

All that effort you spent learning her songs and videos, pretending to be her, she’s telling you you will NEVER, EVER be her no matter how many leotards, and pounds of blonde lace fronts you put on you will never be her or on her level of highness, so the only thing you lowly peasants can do is buy her CDs and bow your low class, wanna be her, but will never ever be good enough pitiful life to something worth while like bowing down and to kiss her better than you feet while buying her CDs.

She’s not talking to haters, or other singers, she is talking to YOU. She’s talking to little girls who have dreams of being like her, READ the lyrics,so wonder what Michelle and the President think of that line, she just called their daughters and everybody else’s a b-tch and for them never to forget to respect that. You can say to yourself she ain’t talking about me, but she is, you just to blind to comprehend it. Its not a Houston thing, saying that makes Houston look stupid, its a Beyonce thing, and YOU are the B-tch, and she just flat out told you. Slavery of the body might be over, but slavery of the mind is still around and thriving.

@Fa, “Love the fact that even her fans call her KING these days. …That overexposed tranny!”

I didn’t know her haters call her King?!?! You got me on that one, hmm

In regards to the rest of your seemingly biased comment, it’s okay to have an opinion…hey, you either like her music or you don’t…but calling her a “perfect reflection of a new pathetic generation of dumb followers, etc” there are MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of people who think otherwise…You have to give credit where it’s due…Beyonce has set the bar HIGH for ALL musical entertainers in the industry, and most (including icons, legends, moguls, critics, and newbies) have a high respect for her work. She has influenced MANY other singers, successful or not, and she’s the hardest working female singer in the game…so despite your dislike for her music and even her as a person (although you don’t even know her personally), you cannot deny or discredit the amount of hard work and talent that she has shown throughout her lengthy career.

What you may consider a “star”, others may not, so that “we have the stars that we deserve” comment doesn’t justify anything…especially since most people will gladly say, KING BEY is a STAR!! ;-)

    Fa Reply:

@SdotB, money, success, fame , sold out tours etc is not everything . There is people that get a lot more respect even though they have sold less!
There is tons of female performers that can sing her to the ground at any time!
Let’s all calm down and set the record straight:
MJ and Janet and Madonna set the bar for EVERYONE else.
Looking at Beyonce copy MJ is still tragic to watch!
I do appericiate your opinion and I am happy to see you respect mine! But let’s calm down! Especially if you might be under 30 years old cause you have missed a lot!

I’m glad she performed “I Choose You.” That song is one of the best tracks off her new album. As a HUGE Beyonce fan, I can see where she is coming from with her comments regarding her new track. I think all of us Beyonce fans would prefer the Queen B to be a bit more toned down and humble…I don’t like hearing her say, “bow down bitches.” Not to mention, Keyshia has clearly stated in the past that she is indeed a Beyonce fan.

Lol at the comments being from Beyonce stans. But anyway, Keyshia Cole did a good job imho. She has 3 platinum albums, several hit singles, headlined a nationwide tour and is about to headline her 2nd nationwide tour. Yeah so what her face was perm boxes. But guess what, I bet every bitch who made fun of that was probably burning they’re nappy ass scalps screaming “I might as well have cheated on you”. Keyshia Cole is a grown ass woman with a child, husband and successful music career. If she doesn’t like that shitty ass Beyonce song then she has a right too. For all those saying Keyhsia ain’t shit, then why was she standing alongside women like Beyonce, Mariah, MJB, Fergie, Ciara and Rihanna for Just Stand Up, a song where Keyshia had her own verse next to Beyonce….

    [Reply]
