Wale Announces New Album ‘The Gifted’
The wait is over. Wale has unveiled the title and release date for his third album.
The Gifted will arrive on June 25. The Maybach Music rapper made the announcement in a video on Wednesday.
“It’s gonna have one sound. It’s very, very soulful,” he previously told Mina SayWhat on Power 99. “‘Bad’ is a pretty good indication of the direction that I’m going for on this particular project. It’s a little nostalgic, a little vintage, but the sounds will make you feel on this album.”
A video for the first single, “Bad” featuring Tiara Thomas, will debut later today.
Wale has been simultaneously recording his fourth project, The Album About Nothing, due later in the year.
