Gucci Mane is back behind bars for assaulting a soldier at an Atlanta nightclub.
According to WSBTV 2, the 33-year-old rapper, born Radric Davis, turned himself in and was taken to Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail on Wednesday morning on assault charges.
The soldier, identified only as James, claimed that he was celebrating his birthday at Harlem Nights club in Atlanta when the attack occurred. After asking Gucci for a photo, he was hit in the head with a champagne bottle. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, where he received 10 stitches.
Police had issued an arrest warrant for Gucci on Friday on aggravated assault charges. He was expected to make his first court appearance today.
A second man named TJ has also accused Gucci of assaulting him on March 18 at Club Onyx in Philadelphia. When TJ approached him for a handshake, he was met with a fist to the face.
“I haven’t ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected,” said the victim. “I sustained a chipped tooth in the back. I sustained also swelling on the left side.”
