New Music: Little Mix f/ Missy Elliott - 'How Ya Doin'?'

Missy Elliott links up with her pals from across the pond, Little Mix, on their new single “How Ya Doin’?” The British girl group, who won the U.K.’s “X Factor” in 2011, rework De La Soul’s 1991 classic “Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)” on the En Vogue-inspired jam.

“We honestly can’t believe Missy is on our song! She’s been one of our biggest idols forever—it’s incredible,” Little Mix member Jesy Nelson told The Mirror. “As soon as we thought there might be a chance she’d appear on the track, we did literally everything we could to make sure it happened.”

A video is also on the way. “Just watched the little mix video with missy Elliot. It is sensational,” tweeted Simon Cowell, who signed the foursome to his label Syco Records.

Now that they’ve conquered the U.K., the girls have set their sights on the U.S. The group’s debut DNA arrives stateside on May 28 featuring a collaboration with TLC’s T-Boz.
