New Music: Gilbere Forte f/ Active Child - 'Nolita'

He commanded our attention with his Fiona Apple-sampled single “PRAY,” and now Gilbere Forte shows us another side on “Nolita.” The hauntingly dark record, produced by RAAK, features airy vocals from Active Child and will appear on his upcoming PRAY project, due May 15. The Philly rapper recalls a temptress who broke his heart and left him in the cold.

“I was your experiment, but I died, you kicked dirt on my grave,” raps Gilbere, who recently inked a deal with L.A. Reid at Epic Records.
