Beyoncé Brings Big Voice, Jay-Z to Chime for Change Concert

Jay-Z and Beyoncé

Beyoncé lent her powerful voice to Gucci’s “Chime for Change: The Sound of Change Live” concert on Saturday at Twickenham Stadium in London. The pop icon, who just wrapped the European leg of “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” headlined the charity concert alongside Jennifer Lopez, Timbaland, Jessie J, Rita Ora, Florence + The Machine, John Legend, Iggy Azalea, and more.

In honor of the occasion, Queen B opened with Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come” before segueing into Etta James’ “At Last,” accompanied by an orchestra.

“I’m Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and I chime for change,” she said as she took the stage in a black leather leotard.

She served up hit after hit including “Single Ladies,” “Halo,” and her new female anthem “Grown Woman.” She also covered Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and brought out Jay-Z for “Crazy in Love.”

Check out photos and video from B’s mini concert below.

I see Beyonce got tired of wearing those booty pads. Good for her. So many people getting booty implants are making the whole booty thing boring.

Keep showing these unclassless people how to perform in public. That was awesome.

    @Mike,

because shaking your ass in public is class

    karamelkisses Reply:

@Slayhanna NAVY, she is an entertainer, that is what she does entertains. nevermind that, she slays stages! and what does you fave do? a quick two step while barely maintaining a note. bitch bye! #takenotesandtheclass
p.s. your fave is hardly one to give tips on class, smoking weed & taking raunchy pics that she posts on instagram.

@karamelkisses, Clapped-back at whoever disrespected Beyoncé, NOT Rihanna. Rihanna wasn’t the one disrespecting your beloved nor you!!!

    karamelkisses Reply:

@Natasha3, first of all, i say what i want when i want to whom i want. secondly, the disrespectful little bitch was throwing shade (weak attempt) at beyonce. why come on the post which is for a good cause being negative? thirdly, i never called a name but i’m glad that you were able to read between the lines. i respect everyone’s right to have an opinion but if you don’t like beyonce why come on a post clearly titled “beyonce brings big voice …”? so thank you for trying to be in my business but please don’t make shoot at you. #becauseidontmiss

    King Fierce Reply:

@Slayhanna NAVY, and doesn’t your “Slayhanna” post pics of her on her knees giving Chris Brown head? Also, how can you slay when you release albums at times when no see relevant does???? It’s quite easy to be the Big Fish in a small, empty bowl called November.
    /-)

    [Reply]

    Natasha3 Reply:

@King Fierce, You don’t know what Rihanna was doing at that particular moment, so STOP assuming and making assumptions!!!!

    [Reply]

    karamelkisses Reply:

@King Fierce, DEAD! so true and it’s also easy to release music every year when you 1) ain’t singing and 2) ain’t singing about shit! but then can she really be called a big fish? because her first week sales are always lackluster. #justthefacts

    Natasha3 Reply:

@Slayhanna NAVY, You stan for Rihanna, I like Rihanna. However, it is hypocrisy to called out Beyoncé and not Rihanna! They are both equally guilty. Being an entertainer is NO EXCUSE for them to wear so very little clothes or sexual moves when they’re performing.

@ Oh, old? child go play in traffic & die! she looks better than 99% than people in the industry that’s younger than her. she is one of the world’s most beautiful. if she’s starting to bore you then stay off her posts but you can’t do that can you leech? she attracts haters like moths to a flame. and what hairstyle did she steal? she’s always been blonde and the whole side swept look is what cassie originated NOT the fivehead/big nose monster. #youtried
