Kelly Rowland Gives Emotional Interview About Beyoncé

Kelly Rowland

Since airing out her “Dirty Laundry,” Kelly Rowland has been faced with questions regarding her relationship with Beyoncé. During a sit-down interview with “omg! Insider,” an emotional Kelly shot down rumors of a rift between her and B and teared up while speaking about her “sister.”

For years, people have been pitting the Destiny’s Child divas against one another. “I think the people wanted those stories for years and that’s just so sad on them because it’s not like that,” she told Kevin Frazier. “It’s so crazy and I just think it’s so sad that we live in a world where people don’t want to see women get along and encourage and empower each other, and that’s what we do for each other.”

Despite the rumors, she and B are closer than ever. “I love my sister and she is so incredibly supportive,” said Kelly as tears rolled down her face. “One of the closest people to me. I love her to death and I love being an aunt.”

The two have endured a lot throughout their careers. “I definitely think it makes friendship stronger and I’m so grateful for her, for Michelle, for Angie, for Solange, for my mama T, for my mother, for being incredible women in my life and always lifting me up,” said Kelly, once again tearing up.

She shared B’s reaction after she played The-Dream-penned song for her. “She looked at me and said, ‘It’s incredible,’ and said how proud she was of me, and then said, ‘I never left,’” said Kelly, whose album Talk a Good Game is due June 18. “It was so true. She never left. I checked out for a minute.”

Kelly also opens up about her abusive relationship and new “X Factor” gig during the full interview, which airs tonight on “omg! Insider.”

In an age where everyone is fake and putting up an act and being who they arent…. is extremely sad that someone would try to critizise for her being raw and honest about her life, her struggles and her emotions. Please.. go back to your fake favorite. Bet you dont know the half about their REAL life.

  6. KeepItReal

ugh. this is cute but Kelly STOP TALKING ABOUT BEYONCE & promote ur album… becos beyonce damn sure doesn’t go out her way to big u up when she’s promoting her music.. every interview Kelly Rowland finds a way to interject Beyoncé in it.. Kelly stay focus girl..

    DJango Reply:

@KeepItReal, I agree 100% Kelly needs to stay focused on HER album and quit putting Beyawnce on a pedestool .

    karamelkisses Reply:

@KeepItReal, um, if she is asked her question doesn’t she have to answer it? she was the one putting out songs “talking about her sister” that’s why she’s being asked about it. beyonce isn’t singing about kelly or old dc business therefore she doesn’t have to “big her up”. kelly could have been more popular if she focused when she first went solo versus running up behind lala or kim kardashian.

@karamelkisses, people go thru things life is not a fairy tale it’s hard sometimes it’s messy sometimes.

    she’s so sensitive .

love her or leave her alone.

but please kelly you can easily promote your stuff even more. PPL gonn’ always asking for B you have to learn to keep focus on your promo even about ‘DL’.

  8. MayZiin

She’s great so she needs to stop talking about Beyoncé to promote herself its’ ridiculous

  9. 2bad2bme

People always have something to say about everything…the main folks that don’t buy her album tell her how to promote it…upload a receipt before you tell her what she needs to do to promote!

  10. mal

    VERY happy for her

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!

Kelly I think you were honest, real & raw I love u, big fan glad to see you SHINE! You deserve it and you’ve work hard for it. “Dirty Laundry” has nothing to do wit you being jealous of “B” it is about your life at that time & what people didn’t know what was going on. In the song you sorted it out 4 those who didn’t know JOB WELL DONE MRS. KELLY JUNE 19th going to get that album!!!
