Nicki Minaj has been back on her feature grind, guesting on singles for Ciara, Mario, and Carly Rae Jepsen. Now the bootylicious rapper takes it to the strip club with her YMCMB labelmate Busta Rhymes on his Pharrell-produced single “#Twerkit.”

The dutty gyal raps in a West Indian patois, shouting out Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, and Trinidad James.

A video was shot earlier this week in New York.

Robin Thicke Sets Album Release Date

With his single “Blurred Lines” burning up the charts, Robin Thicke is not wasting any time. The R&B crooner has set a release date for his sixth album, Blurred Lines.

Kevin Cossom continues his freestyle series. After tackling Lil Wayne’s “Rich as Fuck” and Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.,” the singer-songwriter, who is signed to Danja’s N.A.R.S. label, rhymes over J. Cole and Miguel’s “Power Trip.” The black-and-white video also features a teaser of his new single “Mind Eraser.”

His remix received the stamp of approval from his friend Kelly Rowland. “Check out my boy @kevincossom remix of Power Trip. WHOAA!” she tweeted.

Kevin penned four songs on Kelly’s upcoming album Talk a Good Game including “Red Wine,” “I Remember,” “Down on Love,” and the title track.


New Music Premiere: Sterling Simms f/ Pusha T – ‘I Know Love’

I Know Love

Love gets the best of Sterling Simms on his soulful new single “I Know Love” featuring Pusha T. The Philly crooner, who was nominated for a Grammy for co-writing Marsha Ambrosius’ “Far Away,” pours out his emotions on the raw record, written by Pop Wansel and produced by The Fisticuffs.

Sterling sings about the ups and downs of love, while Pusha chronicles a love/hate relationship on his guest verse.

The song is slated to hit iTunes on June 25 and will appear on Simms’ Stereotypes Music/RCA Records debut 11 Missed Calls. has your first listen.


Diddy Starts New Dance Sensation #DiddyJetDance

First he brought us the Harlem Shake, and now Diddy is hoping to start a new dance craze with the #DiddyJetDance. In an iPhone-shot video released online, the jet-setting mogul introduces us to the newest sensation that’s sweeping tarmacs across the nation.

He sets up an iPod speaker on the floor of the runway and begins to dance to Problem’s “Like Whaaat.” While looking fly in a blue suit, he slides, shuffles, and spins while the airport staff looks on. He makes his way up the stairs and onto his private plane, where the party continues (Look for a cameo from his bad girl Cassie).

“When you’re living THIS high, you can’t be afraid of heights!! Learn how to FLY with me!!” tweeted the Bad Boy boss.

New Music: Raekwon f/ Melanie Fiona – ‘Soundboy Kill It’

Soundboy Kill It

Fresh off his performance with Wu-Tang Clan at Summer Jam, Raekwon the Chef cooks up a new single featuring Melanie Fiona. On the Jerry Wonda-produced “Soundboy Kill It,” the hip-hop veteran grinds his way to the top, while Melanie adds some island flavor to the hook.

Raekwon’s solo album F.I.L.A. (Fly International Luxurious Art) is due later this year.

Meanwhile, he has reunited with his Wu-Tang brothers for “Family Reunion.” A new album is due this fall to commemorate the group’s 20th anniversary.

You can catch Wu-Tang playing festivals this summer including Bonnaroo (6/14) and Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival (8/30-9/1).
