Florida Georgia Line and Nelly

Nelly is once again enjoying success on the charts, but this time, it’s for his collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. The St. Louis rapper joined the country duo to perform the remix to their No. 5 Hot 100 hit “Cruise” at Wednesday’s 2013 CMT Music Awards in Nashville.

Wearing a green tank top with “Cruise” written across the front, he rapped alongside break dancers as the crowd including Carrie Underwood sang along.

“A lot of rappers ‘MAKE’ noise…. very few ‘MAKE’ history,” tweeted Nelly, who previously topped the charts with country star Tim McGraw on his 2004 single “Over and Over.”

Nelly is currently working on a new album. His collaboration with Future, “Give U Dat,” leaked online this week.
